State Emergency Preparedness Representatives

There are usually 1-2 SEPRs in each state.  We are under the direction of the Regional Emergency Preparedness Coordinator and are to be a contact person for disseminating Emergency Preparedness information.  In an emergency we act as the communication center for our state by using computer – phones – and ham radio - to get information to and from the field to Our US Regional Director and the Regional EPC.

We also maintain a current list of phone numbers and email addresses for other SEPRs in our region.  In an emergency we coordinate with all EP personnel in our region.

We are to report any disasters to the US Director and the EPC  through a specific reporting system.  We are also to file after-action reports after the emergency.
