Aglow is partnering with Crisis Response International to help provide emergency response to diasters anywhere in the world.  Many of our Wisconsin members recieved valuable training in Madison, WI in 2009.

Now our North Central Region EPC Roberta Preston is preparing to leave as soon as possible to go to Haiti.  She is in need of funding to pay for her expenses in this relief effort.  She is not only reaching out to those in need....she is gaining valuable experience on what emergency response "looks like" on the ground.  This will uniquely qualify her in her leadership role as Aglow Regional Emergency Preparedness Coordinator.  Contact your Local Lighthouse President to get her address to send your donation.

Are your lamps full of oil? Is your church, community, neighborhood, home prepared?
In the light of the disasters in New Orleans, Pakistan, etc. it is only a matter of basic stewardship in Christ to be prepared to care for the people of our congregations, neighborhoods, and of the city as a whole.

Disasters....that can be small (like a car accident, or a fire in your home) or big...like hurricane Katrina.  We never know when it will touch us personally.  But we do know that if we are prepared -- we will be in a much better position than if we just ignore the possibility.

Here in the North Central Region we know all about tornados, floods, and blizzards   We have had small glimpses of disaster.  We know that in a crisis it is sometimes hard to think clearly.  We hope that everyone will take some time to visit the websites below and make some basic preparations for disaster...it will be time well invested!

Let us help you get started!
